Two Aggies place in top 20 to finish coastal meet.
LONG BEACH, CALIF. – Closing out the final day for the Aggies, four athletes competed across the board today. Leading the team in Discus was Alesha Lane who had a strong start to place herself 15th overall in the field with a mark of 47.38m. In Shotput, Kamryn Cradle would hold the best mark on the Aggies' squad with her best throw of 13.90m on her final attempt.
Aileen Alvardo represented NM State in high jump as well. After clearing 1.58m on the second attempt, she fell short at 1.63m. This mark was just 2 centimeters shy from her best performance which she earned at ENMU two weeks ago and again at UTEP.

NM State will split on the road this week as the sprint squad will head to LSU for the Alumni Gold Invitational. The rest of NM State will compete in Albuquerque at the Don Kirby Twilight hosted by New Mexico Lobos.
